How it is computed here
Weighted by what each lot cost rather than by the number of lots — a hundred euros bought yesterday should not count the same as ten thousand bought four years ago.

Demo portfolio: four invented companies, generated prices, measured by the real engine. Past returns do not predict future ones.
Where it misleads
The one-year line is descriptive, not fiscal: every country sets its own threshold and some set none. What it does show is the difference between a portfolio that is held and one that is traded.
